Spring Break and Sunshine

Happy Easter Everyone! I hope you are enjoying a sunny Easter weekend and time with family or friends. For those of you still dealing with winter weather, I hope you will find some relaxing time and I wish you warmer weather soon. Here is a picture of spring in S. Korea. This is how my grandsons greeted spring.

I have been very busy since Spring Break started helping out my daughter with her new son. She came to visit with the 3 grandchildren. Time went by quickly working around playing, feeding, napping, and cleaning up at the end of the day. I didn't get much work done on the computer, but I got to make memories. So much better use of time.
My granddaughter calls me "best friend". It is so cute. When we do something she talks about doing them with her "best friend". That means the world to me that I am special to her.

I have been working on a great money unit that I am just about to post. Here is a sneak peek of it being used in my classroom. It is exciting to watch the kids work with the money and actually understand how to use it in real world situations. We are going to do the culminating activity after the break. Stay tuned for photos and a new unit.
